Before starting any project, I like to jump on stakeholders interview to better understand the business and user goals and needs. After that, I like to define overall structure and minimal product requirements to make the project viable. Only then I proceed to the next step.
I have been skipping the whole low-fidelity wireframes and start right away with Figma and Claude Code to explore designs. While Claude code is working on my prompt, I continue to start with a blank frame in Figma to put my brain to work and judge which result is better.
At last, I deliver a full design system and variables in Figma and also in an HTML file connected to the Claude Code final prototype. Both files can act as the true source of design, and they should be kept updated both ways.
