This feature introduced a two-sided market into a wallet that was intentionally simple. Before designing interfaces, we needed to define how someone would find it, understand what commission actually costs them, and see slashing exposure before committing rather than after.
What we had to solve
- Find a natural entry point for Stake Desk inside existing navigation
- Handle multi-chain and multi-account context without fragmenting the experience
- Keep delegator flows lightweight, with a request published in a couple of steps
- Make commission, uptime and slashing risk readable by someone who is not a validator researcher
What we did
We used stakeholder workshops, journey mapping, and quick wireframes to align on product structure early. That gave us a shared foundation for navigation, entry points, and delegator flows before committing to visual design.
